Test Lead

MATTR is newly established stand-alone business division of Spark NZ. We are focused on Horizon 2 / 3 opportunities arising from new / future technologies such as distributed ledger, hyperscale compute, IOT and AI.

We currently have an opportunity to join our small team of dedicated professionals working in the emerging area of Trust over IP (TOIP). Our team is working locally and globally to solve some of the challenges of the current Internet model working on solutions that will help people, organisations and things to prove they are who they say they are on in the digital realm.

We are looking for Test Lead who has passion for working in highly technical projects with an understanding of business processes to enable End-2-End testing.

What you will be doing

  • Responsible for test strategy and test planning for products build for core benefit in businesses.
  • Responsible for test execution and creating integration test harness for these products.
  • Engaging with product and engineering team to deliver the integration and E2E tests for the product.

What are the skills needed

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in testing domain.
  • Good knowledge of Javascript, typescript.
  • Prior experience in building test automation frameworks.
  • Good knowledge of databases such as Sql lite, Mongo, Postgress etc.
  • Added advantage would be work experience in testing Identity products or prior knowledge of blockchain technology or testing open source libraries.

Team Administrator

We need someone we can rely on to play the role of "Team Administrator", run the office and support the whole team. You'll be in charge of all things admin and help ensure the team has adequate support to work efficiently. You will be a self-starter - someone who is self-motivated and self-directing, trustworthy and capable of prioritising in what can be quite a chaotic environment.

We are looking for a creative designer to produce digital communications that resonate and drive engagement with our audiences. You will develop concepts, create presentations, and execute design/layouts that embody our brand and our products.

We would like to see examples of your work, particularly any projects where you have taken a complicated concept and translated it into an accessible design.

  • Working with our brand guidelines, using existing templates and creating new designs.
  • Creating clear and consistent visuals for tutorials and our product documentation.
  • Generating social media content to accompany company announcements and events.

What are the skills needed

  • Minimum 1 year of graphic/visual and communication design experience.
  • Portfolio showing examples of relevant designs for digital and print.
  • Proactive, smart, with attention to detail.
  • Solid on the tools, ability to deliver quickly.Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and MS Office experience (Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent oral and written communications.
